Sonya Nicol
Sonya has 18 years experience in planning and resource management roles in local government, as a private consultant, and she has worked as a Senior Planner in London. Her experience is varied and has prepared and processed a range of resource consent applications from new dwellings to large residential and commercial developments, water takes and dairy effluent discharge permits, as well as spending time reviewing, and drafting district and regional plans. Sonya holds a Bachelor of Resource Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Resource Studies from Lincoln University.
Rebecca Robertson
Rebecca has eleven years experience working in planning and resource management roles in Southland. During this time, she has been involved in a range of work from resource consent preparation and assessment, policy development including regional plans, conservation management strategies and national park management plans and project management. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University and a Masters of Resource and Environmental Planning from Massey University. She has completed Massey University’s advanced nutrient management course and advanced farm environment planning course.
Burnetta Van Stipriaan
Burnetta has more than 10 years planning and resource management experience from working as a Resource Management Consultant here and as a Deputy Area Planning Manager and an Associate Director for Development and Residential Consulting in London. Burnetta has handled a range of applications, including project managing application submissions. She has also been involved in planning audits and appraisals, policy development, and consultation and engagement and reporting. Burnetta holds a Master of Science with 1st Class Honours in Geography and Certificates of Proficiency in Planning from the University of Auckland.
