Water Permits

If you need to renew or apply for a water take, then we can help you to prepare your application to meet the requirements of the relevant local plan.  This water take might be for a dairy shed, domestic use, irrigation or commercial use.  Or you might be looking to dam or divert water, and if so, we can outline the relevant consent requirements for you.

Discharge Permits

Discharge permits cover activities that discharge to water, air or land.  Examples of how we can help include preparing your application for the discharge of dairy shed effluent on your farm, or discharges to water – we can work with you to tailor an application that meets the relevant plan requirements, including the preparation of effluent management plans.

We can also assist with outlining the consent requirements and preparing your application for discharges of dust, odour, smoke or other contaminants into the air.

Coastal Permits

Coastal permits are required for some activities to be undertaken in the coastal marine area. So, if you are looking to undertake activities within the coastal marine area such as building a structure like a jetty, any seabed or foreshore disturbance, discharges into coastal water, aquaculture or commercial surface water activities then we can help you with your application.

Consultation with affected parties

We can help you with the consultation process with your consent application.  This can include identifying who potentially affected parties are, outlining why their written approval is required and prepare consultation information to assist with this part of the consenting process. Obtaining affected party approval prior to lodging your application can save you time and money.
